Both Uptime and Transaction checks only support exact string matching per check. Regex-based conditions or multiple OR rules are not supported. Example Use Case: A page may return either "Service available" OR "Service is up" depending on context. With current functionality, we would need two separate checks. Regex or OR…
At present, when multiple tags are applied as filters in Pingdom Synthetic → Uptime/Transactions, the system returns checks that match any of the tags (OR logic). Example: Uptime 1 → tags: gw, a Uptime 2 → tags: gw, b If I filter with "gw", both Uptime 1 and Uptime 2 are shown (expected). If I add "a" along with "gw", both…
To catch occasions where an endpoint is jittery and is not 100% down, we want to be able to configure an alert that will fire for example if an endpoint has been down X amount of times for a window of Y minutes. Currently the alert is based on the result being down dor the entire duration period. Thanks
All, I have a need to generate a report that I'm fairly positive can't be accomplished in the current versions of NPM and SAM. If this can be done today, please offer up a solution...all ideas are good ideas. Report requirements: * shows the uptime of an element in time (hhmmss) and percentage (compared to 5 9s) * shows…
Hello, we have already set up a classic dashboard using a widget named "Availability on Each node' which is replicated for different servers/services. I am intending to create a modern dashboard for the same purpose with widgets with same functionality as "Availability on Each node'. I am wondering if this is possible and…
Description: Retry count - number of checks to run on consecutive failures of which an alert will be sent. If retry count is 3, 3 checks should fail consecutively before sending an alert. Need: Currently we are receiving alerts if a uptime check fails even once. This usually is network issues or intermittent connectivity…
I have discovered (through experimentation, since I can't find any documentation about this) that a semicolon ";" is not an allowed character in header values for uptime checks. This is very surprising, since ";" is used in the several standard headers including Cookie, Cache-Control, Content-Type, Accept, etc. For the…
Add Public status page for Pingdom Transaction check. Considering the Uptime check accepts only Basic Authentication, It is not of great use for form authentication. All the modern apps doesn't use basic Auth. Adding Public status page Transactions can solve this issue
When viewing Uptime screen, there is the option to filter by TAG; however, it uses an OR operator so you can't filter beyond one tag (e.g. SimpleTest AND prod) so that I can get a subset and only see Production monitors; instead it shows me everything that has 'Simpletest' OR 'Prod' which is a superset of what I really…
I was asked to create a report showing the devices that have the longest uptime. I used the Last Boot time that SolarWinds reports and I was told this was not showing the correct dates. For example, this Cisco 3800 stack shows an obvious discrepancy: SolarWinds LAST BOOT - Wednesday, February 22, 2023 7:10 AM Console…
