Email/SMS Alerts Delay by 2 hours

Setup

- NPM 2020.2 Running on Windows Server 2012R2, RAM 32GB

-SQL 2014 DB Running on Another Windows Server 2012R2, RAM 32GB

Issue

- Past 2 weeks after my server rebooted due to power issue i started receiving delayed alerts.

- When Node goes down, on Orion Web console the Node still showing GREEN, BUT on Alerts & Events it correctly showing it had gone down already.

- I thought it could be email/SMS delay, but if  i SIMULATE the alert on Trigger Action, the email and SMS notification is coming immediately right on time

Please help to isolate this issue . will appreciate. thanks

Sorry to jump to the basics but have you tried a controlled restart after the power issue?  Bring up the DB, then your main polling engine (then any extra pollers, web servers, wpm, agents). 

Most alert delays I have experienced have been RCA'ed to the database (usually after cluster fail-over).  Orion does not reconnect well to the database after its disconnected. 

Support is likely to pester you about getting on a supported version of the DB (SQL2016 or later), and windows server 2016 or later.
