Hello all, I am trying to see if it is possible to assign an asset to an end user while inside of an incident and have the asset come out of inventory.
I'm trying to do this as well. I want to deprecate my 'other assets' quantity so that I can generate a report for monthly ordering for consumables like headsets, cables, etc. I have been starting to toy with using the API to do this, but havent had a ton of success yet. ANyone else have any ideas?

To change the quantity of an asset, you'd first need a quantity field on the asset. This can be created via Custom Forms and Dynamic Form Rules. Once the field is on the asset, it can be manually updated to the appropriate quantity by editing the asset record.
There aren't any native features to automatically depricate an asset quantity, but we'd love to hear this ask in the Feature Request forum.
