WHD won't load after SSL replacement

Greetings, we did a ssl replacement through the portecle, following the instructions for the .pfx import to the keystore, but after that the site wouldn't load at all, the logs show this section below that I think is the problem. We restored the backed up keystore file and the site was able to load again, albeit with the expired certificate. Since the path of the keystore is fine it doesn't seem to be that, but not sure what other logs to check.

ERROR [2022-08-31 10:17:33]<CommonDaemonExecutor-thread-1> Error while triggering session in com.macsdesign.whd.daemon.ServletPulseDaemon: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

I found the issue with supports assistance.
There is a step not mentioned in the Porecle instructions. When you save the keystore it asks you for the "key pair" password. This is the same as the keystore itself when you login. It does not reference the pfx password as I thought.

No, only if you are pulling in a new chain will it ask for the private key password. If you are just doing a renewal from and existing CA then it will be just the keystore password which is required.

Another good free Tool is KeyStore Explorer which can be download off the web.
