Design issue: Incident lists

No matter how wide you make the column, you cannot read the entire "State". I feel the buttons should scale with the column size so that more of the text becomes visible as the column widens - these states are not the same state but all begin with the same - and show the same except for the colour.

To see the whole text, you either have to point the mouse at each one, or you have to click them as if to amend.

I see what you mean. The best suggestions I can make based on the feature limitations is to adjust the way the States are worded. Put whatever is separating the States at the beginning and follow it with the "Awaiting Customer" part of the language.

While today it isn't possible to change the color of a State, or to scale the size of the State with the column, these are great candidates for a feature request.

Yes they are... but I see no reason why, having seen this, you could not incorporate it into your plans for the product - rather than asking me to duplicate my effort?

@Stonelaughter I'm not part of the Product team so I am not able to directly affect plans. The best way for Product to view, manage and prioritize new features requested from customers is on our dedicated Feature Request forum, which allows other customers and THWACK members to vote and comment on requests.
