Packets Per Second - Historical Reporting

I am looking to report on historical packets per second. It seems when I create a custom report and select receive/transmit packets per second, it only gives me the data from that exact moment in time. How can I accomplish this over a period of time - say 7 or 30 days? You can view this info within the interface itself but it doesn't seem like I can report on this.

Hi,

You can put in a timestamp column, and then report on the past seven or thirty days. You can then amend the sample data for every day, hour, etc. Then the final part is to aggregate the data in the receive/transmit packets per second column.

You can also let it make a graph of the data if you want in add report after you select the data you want.

I've always found screenshots to be helpful for me in my early attempts at doing this sort of thing. So hopefully this isn't teaching granny to cusk eggs but....

When editing a report you can select a timescale there

You then need to select your 'sample period' by clicking in Edit Table and setting options as you desire.
