Change Index sorted by custom or process field

I've created a Change Catalog Item which has a process field called 'CAB Date'... I'd like to be able to filter my Change Index page by this field but I'm not able to add it to the view. If instead of a process variable, I use a custom field and add it to the 'Change' form I can see that it's available in the Change Index view, but I'm unable to see it for entry when I launch the Catalog Item. Any suggestions?

Hi @jknott, you should be able to see the custom field when you request the change catalog item. As of right now, you won't be able to see that custom field until you click the request button to begin filling out the form.

On a side note, we are working on merging process fields into custom fields which will resolve this issue for you.

thanks for your quick response, Joey. I must be doing something wrong then. I've created a new custom field called CAB Date under (setup>servicedesk>custom fields), then under (setup>servicedesk>custom forms>Changes) I've added the CAB Date field and updated the form. When I go to 'request' the new change request from the catalog, I'm presented by the usual suspects (description, change plan, test plan, rollback plan, assigned to, type, priority, cc, site, department, planned start and end, and then any process fields i have) but not the custom fields i believe that I've added. Not sure where I'm off the rails here...

I should mention that I've attempted altering the custom field property 'Show in Portal' with no change in behaviour
