We have a number of tickets where staff have either left the company or have received a new computer, and they need to return their old computer. We struggle today with staff returning them in a timely manner and our only option is to manually update the ticket to ask them to please return it. With all of the other work we do, it's hard to stay on top of these manually and we were looking to see if there is a way to automate this "nudge" notification on a schedule automatically.
Basically, we would like to auto-generate an email\notification to the staff and\or staff managers every few days until the machine arrives and we either close the ticket or change the status to suppress the automated messages.
I have looked at the Automation features but was unable to create anything similar to this. I also looked at the SLA options (which we do not use today) to see if this could do something similar but no luck. I'm also not familiar enough with it the SLA feature to know if this is even possible. We could create separate categories\subcategories, a Group, or any other parameter that might help with such automation. We also have access to things like Power Apps but not sure if that is useful.
Looking for any ideas or suggestions to accomplish this type of task.
