Wireless question...

When viewing my access points within the wireless summary I can see clients connected but I also have clients that are blank (only the MAC address is available, IP address is 0.0.0.0):

I am not sure what this is, and I have multiple occurences on my APs. Any ideas?

Hi,

We see this in our lab as well on certain devices. Usually this is due to a device that has established some level of communication with your wireless network, but has not yet acquired an IP address.

If you can identify this device by its MAC then you can find out what it is. From the NPM standpoint, we are simply realying the information that we are getting from the device via SNMP, but rest assured we have seen similar instances in our lab.
