I have tasked with setting up a audio alerts, I have added the audio alert to the server and selected an audio to play in the user settings.
I have added the webpage as a trusted site and allowed all active x controls to be run from the solar winds webpage. The map is being viewed on IE7 with the latest updates.
When we have a node go yellow on the map are we supposed to hear an audio alert? Nothing happens. At first I thought permissions problem so accessed the sound file directly from the web address it is stored at and it played fine.
We are running version 9.5 SP4.
Any help would be appreciated as I am going mad trying to get this to work. Can't get our email alerts to work either as the smtp settings won't support TLS. But this is why the audio is essential as we can live without the email but not the audio.
