Monitoring Palo Alto LSVPN tunnel utilization

Has anyone been able to monitor the LSVPN tunnel interface traffic without false positives for interface down?

Since updating to NPM 12.0.1, I can now see transmit and receive utilization over my tunnel.20 interface just fine.

However, I also get a large number of interface up / down alerts which seem to occur whenever one of my satellites is down.

Is there a way to ignore these up/down notifications and just get utilization?

Use the option "Display interface as unplugged rather then down"

When you will not have the connection / Down the interface will not be marked as down and you will not have down alert.

Another solution is to avoid this is create Dependencies the interface will be marked as "Unreachable" and will not be marked as Down unless its True depending on the Dependencies been created.

Same issue - initially wondered if it was something to do with no traffic but doubt that is the case as another since has shown and there is no traffic!

So i'm now wondering if its MIBs

If you are talking about Orion MIBs DB that has nothing to do with this .

No Interface Bandwidth Utilization Data available (Data is not available)

Have you tried the above solution provided for the status ?

Interface status is been proved by the OID's under the device where the status is been collected .
