Hey guys, Has anyone encountered the following problem: Via SNMP walk I was able to discover the OID of a VPN tunnel on my Cisco Firepower 2130. The OID is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.171.1.2.3.1.7.91770880 (one of them), but when added to UnDP it does not return the address from the VPN and returns incompatibility. Has anyone had a…
Hello, I have installed an agent on a laptop that I use remotely over a VPN. I have given the agent the IP address that this virtual NIC is using. When I create the probe using this agent, I also provide it that same IP address. However, when I create a Netpath with this, I run into two issues. First, it uses the local…
All, I have recently taken a new position and need to start monitoring the VPN activity for my organization. I am looking for some widgets that folks have developed to get an idea of some of the data to be monitored. If you have any VPN widgets you would like to share, I would appreciate it. Hello, I have configured SNMP within the Meraki dashboard and am able to monitor the MX within Orion. Is there any default functionality with monitoring the IPSec tunnel or will I need to possibly create pollers for it?
Has anyone been able to monitor the LSVPN tunnel interface traffic without false positives for interface down? Since updating to NPM 12.0.1, I can now see transmit and receive utilization over my tunnel.20 interface just fine. However, I also get a large number of interface up / down alerts which seem to occur whenever one…
I don't need to worry about 4 or 5, but when 50 of the VPN tunnels are down, I need to investigate. The VPN is up, so is there a way I can trigger an allert when say 50 of the 100 hundred tunnels are down. I found some reference to this, but the thread's were dated back to 2008 and 2009. was hoping there was something…
My company is revisiting purchasing Orion NPM but have an abundance of Sonicwalls that we need to make sure it can give us quality info about our VPN tunnels. The quick and dirty description of our network is that we have one main location that has a PRO 2040 Enhanced running SonicOS Enhanced 4.2.0.1-12e. We then have…

Is anyone else having timeout ( > 10000 ms ) issues with APM when monitoring applications over a VPN tunnel? I've specifically experienced issues with the DNS monitor. My tunnels have decent connections and low ping rates for everything else in Orion. I've never had a problem with SNMP monitoring timeouts.
