Is Solarwinds capable of not reporting a node on the GUI but still be noticable in a ran report?

Can the Solarwinds server not report on the GUI for devices with an agent installed.  The goal is to deploy PCs in facilities but only run reports on hardware and software configuration when needed.  We don't want these PCs reporting back on the GUI.
