Is there a way to integrate WHD with other platforms for asset discovery than those listed? We have a KACE appliance that will be doing asset management and it would be awesome to be able to integrate it with WHD
WHD does support additional applications. You would go to the discovery connections --> click new --> for database type choose Database table or view. --> select the type of DB used by your application. Fill out the db info and the attribute mappings info.
your applications DB must be able remotely accessible and you may need to create login accounts with appropriate read permissions. If there are a lot of tables you may want to create a view in you DB with just the tables you need.
