Feature Request: APM:: Basic Authentication User Experience Monitors

Hi,

This has been talked about before but very little progress has been made getting this in the base build.

May I express interest in seeing these being included in as base templates available in APM.

LDAP User Experience

Radius User Experience

Tacacs User Experience

I would like to see the ability to add in a username and receive a result based on passed/failed at min.

I agree this would be helpful, we depend on TACACs a good bit.

We have an LDAP script uxp monitor. I'll consider the others as feature requests.

As far as I was aware if not mistaken the LDAP Monitor available as part of the installation does not take in a user credential and query the ldap server and expect a pass/fail response. Can you confirm.

Does this mean that up until now the previous feature requests for radius/tacacs user experience monitors from members have not been considered.

I misspoke when I said "script" . In APM 3.0, there is a full LDAP user experience monitor.

Description:

This component monitor tests the capabilities of a LightWeight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server, and measures the time it takes to perform LDAP search-and compare operations.

I have heard this request a few times, and it's something we've considered for a couple of releases, but it hasn't yet made the cut.
