Hi,
I have an Orion NPM 10.2 Server and its DB on a separate server. On the Orion NPM I added the IP SLA module and everything works great. I installed the Orion NCM 6.1 on another server, with its database on the same DB server as NPM but on a different instance. The NCM install ran smoothly with no issues. The initial part of the configuration wizard also ran smoothly, but when came the time to

"import devices from Orion Database" (I gave it all the pertinent and correct data) I get an error that I have not found anywhere on thwack:

"Failed to start 'Example Orion Node Import' Job: Time out"
I cannot proceed beyond this point, unless I cancel the config wizard.
Now I was wondering if it was a permissions issue, and I tried to import the database without the integration and I can get to the DB and read the contents, so I know there is connectivity and permissions to access the DB.
Also, checking the logs I do not find any errors popping out. The log's last entries are:
2011-12-08 19:50:41,551 [1] INFO ConfigurationProgressScene - Restarting Services ...
2011-12-08 19:50:41,551 [5] DEBUG DatabaseHelper - SQL Server on "RAI-GV-NPM-02" reports its ProductVersion as "10.50.1617.0".
2011-12-08 19:50:41,551 [5] DEBUG ConfigurationProgressScene - addServiceDependencies - False
2011-12-08 19:50:41,551 [5] DEBUG ConfigurationProgressScene - version - SQL2008
2011-12-08 19:50:41,551 [5] DEBUG ConfigurationProgressScene - dependencies -
and then nothing...
So my questions are.
1. Can NCM 6.1 Integrate with NPM 10.2?
2. Has anyone else seen this error before?
3. Am I sorry I let my maintenance expire?
I'll answer that one... YES. But what can I do, budget cuts...
Any help would be appreciated!
