Does anyone here expose their helpdesk to the internet? I am thinking of doing this so our maintenance team and our technicians are able to access the help desk while they are in the field. I just wanted to see what everyone was doing with this and if anyone is even allowing access to the helpdesk this way.
I have seen a couple of posts about it and they are recommending only allowing port 443 and then also setting a domain like support.domain.com with an SSL certificate.
