When a ticket requires a 3rd party to interact with the ticket for purposes of dealing with their input, or getting them to action a specific element of a ticket, right now, the only method is to mark the ticket visible to client, then uncheck the client from the recipients selection, and then check the CC field and add the 3rd party's email address there. Then send the email, and reverse the process. My suggestion to resolve this is 1 of 2 options:
- Add a email override field to the specific note, that only sends to the address(es) specifically tagged in that note field so that on save, a message is only sent to th(ose) part(ies)…OR:
- Add a new general email category override in recipients that when toggled, automatically only sends to the email addresses listed in that field, but leaves the other recipients tagged state unchanged. This would be a "one-time-use" option that once used, would return the state to the default until the next time an email address is tagged.
