Today, Orion/Observability does not emit native events when a node’s maintenance window (Unmanage From/Until) is created, updated, or removed. This makes it difficult to synchronize planned maintenance with external systems without relying on custom SQL/SWQL auditing queries.
A built-in event type for these actions would enable straightforward alert triggers, cleaner integrations, and a more consistent user experience. This would remove the need for complex query workarounds and significantly simplify multi-system maintenance coordination.
