I would like to request a feature enhancement for the SolarWinds Service Desk.
Currently, asset information attached to an incident, such as IP addresses, requires technicians to click on the attached object to view its details. This process opens the Service Desk interface and requires the user to authenticate, which can be cumbersome for field technicians who need quick access to this information.
Proposed Solution:
Display Asset Information Directly: Implement a feature that allows asset details, specifically IP addresses, to be displayed directly within the incident ticket. This would eliminate the need for technicians to drill down into the attached object.
Mobile App Integration: Additionally, it would be beneficial to have this asset information accessible directly from the SolarWinds mobile app. This would allow field technicians to view essential details without needing to log into the full Service Desk system.
This feature would greatly enhance the efficiency of our field technicians and improve the overall workflow.
