We have multiple partner requirements to correlate SWSD ("uses Incident # xxxxx") in the email subject with a partner's BMC Footprints or ServiceNow or PagerDuty or whatever which might use something like "ticket # wwwww" or "ISSUE=yyyyy PROJ=zzzzz" in the email subject, for example.
As there's no native integration with the intended ticket systems and we're looking to avoid a dev project to write code and/or Zapier-stitch APIs together externally which wouldn't be supported by SolarWinds, it would be great to have a feature to regex an external system's ticket number out of a subject line and stuff it into a custom field as well as when sending out an update from SWSD to their system to take a custom field's value and insert it into a custom string in the subject heading to them. That way we could store the other system's ticket number in a custom field of the SWSD incident to correlate the systems if we're stuck interacting via email.
