Currently, in the Service Portal, you must make Categories and Sub Categories visible to all or none. I would like a way to make only some categories visible to end-users. For example, you might have a category named Applications with subcategories of the applications. all of these would be visible to end-users as expected. Now I want another category named Service Desk Internal where I can place subcategories for things that the Service Desk Techs may use however should not be seen by the end-users. Solarwinds Web Help Desk easily handles this process. For now, it seems the only option if I want to hide one category in the service portal is to hide them all. Al or nothing seems like an odd approach.
