Currently, the printer section is populated with printers based on discovery of the printers from client installed on the user devices. No effort is made to see if the printer is already listed in the list of printers so if a printer is shared,, it will be entered by however many users have that printer installed on their device. When managing assets this is not a good thing. The only option we appear to have is to go and hide the printers after they have been discovered, manually. Using MAC or IP addresses, it should be possible to prevent this from occurring. Furthermore when a printer is removed from the environment, I need the ability to manage this without creating a SD Support request to delete them.
