Email Reminder Triggered From Custom Date Field
Would be nice to be able to send out emails to a certain group based off of custom date fields. Reminders if you will.

I think we could use this functionality for Equipment reservations since the system has the ability to track assets and mark them as Reservable. We could then have a request type of 'Equipment Reservation' with a custom field 'Equipment Pickup Date'
We would then setup an action to send out an email either the day before or morning of; to remind specific staff to get the equipment ready when Request Type = 'Equipment Reservation' and Equipment Pickup Date = <today>
The lack of the ability to set fields in WHD to something based on another field is disappointing; along with the inability to use <tags> within any field in the system. Example: Why can't you set the Tech due date to a date based on a custom date field entered by the client? (Action - Modify Ticket - Rule Action Details - Status & Schedule - Due Date = Custom Date Field or Custom Date Field - 2 days) Example 2: Can use <tags> in the body of an email but not the To:, CC:, Subject or within any of the fields when trying to modify a ticket using an Action.
Oh well, maybe some of these things will eventually be developed in a future release.
