We've created dozens of groups in Solarwinds. It would be convenient to have a search box to narrow the view, as in the mock-up below.
YES, our users have bailed on the group approach completely because of the lack of this feature.
We are implementing Solarwinds and have hundreds of groups, but soon we'll have over a thousand groups. A search box is a must.

We have over 1000 groups and 1000 dependencies. The need for this implementation is understated and not receiving enough attention.

This is definitely a pain point of mine. I've resisted implementing groups for so long because of some bad experiences early on. I can resist no longer, and have gone a little group crazy (and dependency crazy), but I have to do any and all management through the SDK because this feature is so painful to use at the level I'm using it today... and we're just scratching the surface. I have 7500 dependencies and 1200 groups. I'm curious to what extent other folks have started using these two features.
