Currently asset reservations are deleted after the asset has been checked in and the check-in time has passed. I would like for these asset reservations to be saved.
Business Case:
1. Saving the asset reservations would allow businesses to track the usage of assets. This information would be useful in determining if more assets of a specific type are needed. It would also be helpful for identifying assets which are not used on a regular basis.
2. This information would also be useful for tracking responsibility for damage that occurs while an asset is reserved. Without this information, if damage is overlooked when the item is returned, there is no way to trace the reservation history and find out who is responsible.
