Ubiquiti although not as robust as others has some MIB's and options for SNMP. Can we get deeper support for it? I would recommend working with the vendor to align so you can pull together the management and monitoring items needed for NPM, NCM, NTA, etc. It does not appear to be going away as a hardware platform and more SMB's are adopting it.
1. UI limitations - cannot Manage easily Edge and UI equipment from a single interface.
2. If you have multiple sites and do not want to expose a cloud Key to the internet, you need a Cloud Key or Dream machine in each location thus you have to log in to each to see what the hardware is doing like how all the AP's are performing etc.
having been a long time SW user, I was spoiled to how SW gave me that broad view of everything, and now that I am managing a different infrastructure, I need SW to continue to adopt newer and newer technology.
