Allow end users to digitally sign for assets

Allow users to digitally sign a form created in Service Desk to acknowledge receipt or return of assets.  This would allow this portion of the process to become paperless.  We require signatures for asset/inventory changes and currently this has to be done via a paper form.  I believe this would be beneficial to many users that deal with inventory.

Does it need to be a signature or is just a check box for the user acceptable in your environment? In my org we utilize a task assigned to the user for them to confirm receipt and return of their assets.
