We have some users who do not want to receive notifications for certain categories of incidents. For example, if they submit a request with a certain category, it is handled by a member of the respective department. In that instance they do not want an email to tell them that the incident was created due to the high volume of requests that they make. We can't figure out a way to disable those particular notifications without turning them off for all requestors.

Support confirmed it was not possible and suggested that I request the feature here. We need the ability to control this notification based on individual User settings, Group Membership, or Automation Rule, etc.
