Multi level filtering of Nodes in "Manage Nodes" similar to "Configuration Management"

I would like to be able to do multi value filtering when in "Manage Nodes" much like I can in "Configuration Management". 

I often need to bulk edit SOME nodes but not all and would like to apply several "Group By" levels so I can filter just the nodes I wish to modify.

Enabling the same mechanism that already exists in "Configuration Management" would satisfy my request.
