Solarwinds can send or forward SNMP traps. Currently, the trap destination must be a properly formatted IP address or hostname, e.g. 74.115.12.20, www.solarwinds.com, etc.
I suggest that the SNMP trap configuration tools be modified to support macros or variables in the destination field, e.g. ${Node.IP_Address} . This would make it possible for an alert to dynamically direct traps to the appropriate target(s).
