So you can't just suggest a feature for the Orion console, so I selected NPM as this is the main program that we utilize, but I think this could be something that would benefit people in various applications.
Maps in Orion are okay but they don't do much. If you're in the map view you can select a node and be taken directly to the page, but the reverse is not true. I want the ability to go to the details page of a node and have a link to the location of that node in the map. I think it should open up another page that takes you to the map with that node. Then I think the map view pages should also have some button or "link" that allows you to step up or down a level as you are looking. I know some instances of Orion have more developed/nested maps than others, but this would be very handy in situations where there are multiple nested levels for one location.
Regardless, I really really want the ability to go to a node and have something there with the map. If it's just a nested image on the node details page that would satisfy me too! Things can get really complex when you have thousands of nodes spread out in hundreds of locations with nested views.
And if all else fails, the ability to at least have something on the node details page that tells where to find the map would at least be helpful. Something as simple as "Located in: A.State->B.City->C.Street->D.Floor - hopefully you get the point.
Thanks for your time everyone.
P.S. If this is something that can be done, without going into the every single node page and manually having to set this up, please let me know.
