I was thinking about potential use cases where I would trust a Generative AI to do something useful. I don't really expect a whole lot from them except for them to be able to create reasonably believable lines of text so i was thinking of where I spend the most time trying to write sentences in Orion.
The OOTB alert messages need a lot of work to turn them into something useful, I usually spend several hours working on them with my clients as part of any new deployment. I would love to just replace the alert message with a variable that would have a Generative AI look at the alert trigger and reset conditions and spit out a reasonable corresponding alert message. I want to be able to replace the OOTB ${alertmessage} variable with ${AI Alert Message}, maybe have two versions of it, a one line message I could use in an email subject line, and a more verbose one i could include in the message body.
