Ability to add classification banner

Please add the functionality in the Web Console settings to add a classification banner that spreads across the entire window.

Currently this is being accomplished by adding a javascript file within the webfiles but it would be more beneficial if this were a native feature.

Would you be able to share how you've created that banner within the webfiles?

I used a part of this thwack forum here:
How to: Add a Classification Banner

Essentially at this folder location (C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\Web\Orion\js\OrionMinReqs.js\) or wherever you have Orion installed.

Create a new file called anything.js where anything is whatever you choose.

Inside that file copy the following:

You can change any of the coloring, font style, etc in the style portion.

Then once that's saved in the location mentioned above open the bundler-config in that same folder in notepad as admin and add <file>anything.js</file> before the </files>

That will manipulate the sw-evaluation-banner object to include the classification banner at the top.

If all the steps are done and you still don't see anything clear your web cache and cookies and it should populate then.

One thing to keep in mind is anytime a new Solarwinds update is installed the bundler-config file will reset but the added javascript file will remain. You'll just have to re-add the file line in the bundler-config file.
