I need the option for variables in the custom reports queries. A single software application is seen as different software if the versions are different. Meaning Word 2.0 is seen as a different app as Word 3.0. I need to find every instance of where Word exists, regardless of the version. This cannot be done easily in Samanage. If the custom reports page allowed me to put "word*" in the Software - Where is it installed field, then I can search as I need.
The way the custom reports are laid out now are not user friendly. It would be great to have a more flexible option when searching.
