We have a service-now prod and dev instance both configured for Solarwinds with the API.
When we want to dev out an alert using the API, we can have it generate an incident in our Dev Service-Now instance but we can;t change the instance to Prod once we are done.
Even If I try to duplicate the action or the entire alert, the option remains locked to the instance I selected when creating the Alert action.
It is quite painful but I will now have to recreate that action using our prod instance.
Changing the instance should be allowed.
