Change the display sequence in portal view

Customer would like to have a feature wherein the display sequence if items in portal view can be rearranged to their desired order.

Agree. Our Service Catalog items default to 'Popular' and we would like it defaulted to 'Aphabetic' but there is no setting in Setup to control this.
