My IT Team does not have a ticket dispatcher. Our two help desk technicians pick up incidents as they are available. Myself and our IT Director provide incident oversight as well as picking up incident overflows. Regularly, more than one person starts working on the same incident because the table view doesn't auto refresh after a new incident is assigned. We are a busy IT team working in a hybrid environment and eing efficient with our time really helps us shine. Having the table view automatically refresh when a new incident is assigned would get rid of a huge pain point for us, as any workarounds are currently clunky and/or inefficient.
