Identify or configure an alert to be sent via email when the application is down and when it comes back up

Good afternoon, team. I have a server that is being monitored, and it runs a Java application, which is also being monitored. The server will restart every Monday, and the applications team needs to receive an email notifying them of the time the application goes down and the time it comes back up. First, I would like to know how to check if that alert is configured in Solarwinds, and if it is not configured, I would appreciate it if you could let me know how to set it up as quickly as possible.

Oh I love these kind of apps that need a weekly reboot to keep them running.  Best thing to do is talk to your colleagues find out what they receive and what they expect from you and SolarWinds then examine all configured alerts checking for active alerts that look like they refer to the java app specifically or if they are just using a server node down alert / reset to determine timings. For this kind of thing I use a service delivery document to note down all the Dev teams requirements and what are the critical parts of the app and what metrics should be monitored. Then you've done your handover documentation for if someone else takes over at any point.
