Service Now Integration

Hi Team,

We have seen that the SolarWinds Service Now Integration is showing as down in Status in the tool, however the Test connection is passing. We have tried giving the User ID used for the Integration as ADMIN but still the status is down. However, we have also checked from the SN logs that the scope of the application has changed from ServiceNow Integration User to Global. Can someone help here and understand where we are going wrong.

Without going in to too much detail and compromising your security I take it you are using the ServiceNow plugin for SolarWinds and have configured suitable user and communications are open between the servers?

Have you tried a test alert into ServiceNow? I've seen this status showing as down before and the integration has still worked. So it is worth testing.

Hi @[Deleted User] We have tried testing the alerting from SolarWinds side but its showing the following as Integration is down or not properly configured. Is their any possibility of testing the same?

HI @[Deleted User] yes all the required access and communications have been given to the user. We are facing issue in ServiceNow Dev and Prod environments as with the same access and communications everything is working in Test Instance. All the things have been replicated and done same from Test Instance to Dev and Prod.

I haven't seen the particular issue but had other issues when i integrated SolarWinds with ServiceNow. I had to export the SNOW certs and placed it on the main orion server for trusteed certificates. (check mmc on main engine and place the SNOW certs there, see if it resolves the issue)
