Network Atlas to Orion maps and when will Network Atlas be removed

Hello there I think this has been partly answered so will just confirm.

I am on SolarWinds 2024.1.0 and I know that network Atlas is no longer been supported though we have all of our estate mapped using Network Atlas so I have a couple of questions.

1 - I saw in another post that Network Atlas will be removed in a future release when will this happen is it a year 2 years or more or much sooner.

2 - Will there be any tools to help migrate the maps over and how would that work or is it the case of rebuilding from scratch.

I use NCM and NPM in my deployment and sorry is this has been fully answered I did ask in London but forgot to write the answer down and my epileptic memory has failed me.

2) there is a tool confirmed as coming, I believe it was on roadmap for late this year?

2024.2 which is almost GA will include a migration tool that allows you to convert maps from NA to Intelligent Maps. It is the first version of the tool and still does not have full parity but it should be able to migrate a good chunk of your maps. If you use the tool and find things that don't work or need adjustment, make note and open a ticket with support. We will not fully remove and cease support for NA until we are satisfied with the level of parity available in Intelligent Maps.

is " Intelligent Maps" just the existing "Orion maps" in the web UI or is this another Maps coming out (like an addition to the existing Maps or a seperate feature)? Also, in this link: Dynamic Intelligence Maps | SolarWinds we see at the bottom... Network Atlas?

Yes, they are the same. With the move to "Hybrid Cloud Observability" as the overall name for the platform, we removed reference to "Orion" in most places. Functionally they are the same. Intelligent Maps is not a new additional feature. And on your final point, yes it looks like we need to update the images on that web page. The last image (I assume that is the one you mean) shows building a wireless heat map in Network Atlas. You can now fully manage heatmaps within Intelligent Maps.
