I've changed some computer names but can't see where I can update the name in SWSD. There's no edit icon next to the asset name. Can anyone help?
Hello @[Deleted User] ! The discovery agent populates the Asset Name. If you rename the computer, the agent will pick up the change. Have you tried to force update from the computers where you changed the name? Not sure if you have this figured out yet but you can edit the name of the computer. Go to your 'Active Computers' page and find the device in question. Do not click the hostname - click the edit icon to the right under the 'Actions' column. The button is not visible until you hover over it.
Sadly, this column cannot be moved to the left but still.
