Credential questions regarding changes to custom locations for NCM Archives in 2023.4

Following my upgrade to 2023.4.2 from 2020.2.6, I noticed that there was a change put in in 2023.4 that now requires credentials for placing NCM Archive Configs to a custom location. I had been dropping them to E:\NCM-Archive-Config and now with this update it reverted to default.

Can these credentials be either a local account on the server or a domain account? What permissions does this account need to have?

Ran into this for the first time last week as well, i just used my Orion service account in the moment, which is an admin on all my servers, but as best I could tell it would just be any account with permissions to write to the directory in question. Seems like that whole flow only really makes sense if you were writing to a file share instead of a local path but I was trying not to get too hung up on it at the time.

I agree. I thought it was odd that it was asking for a credential to save a file on the local drive. It seems it should only be required if you are pointing to a share.
