Is it possible to generate a report on the changes in compute demands(CPU & RAM Usage) for each cluster. For example if CPU and RAM has changed for few VM's in the previous month and I'd like to compare with the current month which all VM's has increased the resources. Can anyone suggest if this is something feasible?…
Hello Thwack - We noticed some odd behavior when we go to any of the VMWare Object summary. If we click on a VMWare object and it will put us to a blank summary page which is located under the main summary page. Is there someway to remove this? See Screen shot. Thanks -Dave
ANYTIME we build a new ESXI host, VMAN automatically detects it through the vct. You see it on the virtualization page, but nowhere else. If you hover over the esxi host i see that is actually a totally different device that has been monitored by SolarWinds for months. I found that the virtual device is sharing the same…
I have HCO AES. I am noticing that the Virtualization Summary view (left navigation) is not showing on the Node Details for a VM that is also managed as a node in NPM. The view is set to be shown if the "Virtualization Manager integration is enabled and the user has permission to see the collected data" - which I believe…
I was trying to do an alert for VMwareTriggered alarms on our vcenters. We do have VMAN and I already have alerts for ESX Hosts that have Triggered Alarms. But for some reason I can't find any triggered alarm on any vcenters. I do have a few vcenters that have triggered alarms now but I am not seeing them on the vcenter in…
Am setting up VMAN in VMware and its has been stuck at 98.6% overall progress. It has been stuck here for almost 24 hours.

Is there a way to put VMs into maintenance mode or mute alerts for them? I know if there is an agent on them, or they are monitored with an agent as well, we can mute the alerts for the node that way. I'm asking specifically for VMs in VMAN.
Running NPM with VMAN 2023.4.2. The value that's being shown for provisioned space (and resultantly, the percentage of overallocation) is not correct by an entire order of magnitude. Solarwinds is reporting that the 3.6 TB drive has over 15 TB of space allocated, whereas the total is significantly lower - we have space…
We have an issue I'm trying to solve. Every 12 hours our ESX hosts spike in CPU for about 15 minutes (at Midnight and Noon). We've figured out that it's VMWare VMAN Configuration polling that's causing it. We determined this by shutting that off and it not reoccurring. As well as looking at the database job the setup makes…
