REST Value 7 'OK_BUT' is a REST value from Dell EMC that basically status ok but minor warning. The description in itself indicates no problems at all with the system. And it is super vague one what minor warning it is triggering on. We've had countless rounds of talks with Dell EMC and they couldn't provide us much of…
Add support for EMC Data Domain deduplication storage systems to Storage Manager. Oct 2019: For all of you who have been waiting on DataDomain Support, check out SRM 2019.4 RC - Data Domain is in the SRM house!
Currently you can only do 1:1 mapping from volume to LUN. It would be great to be able to map a volume to multiple LUNs
I have been told recently by Solarwinds Support that Netapp Replication Failures cannot be monitored by any of the suite of products yet. I am asking for this feature to be included in SRM. Often I do not know that replication between our primary facility and DR has failed without manually checking it. It would be great to…
SRM supports hardware health at the node level (node status, sensors etc.,) but not doing performance stats
Currently, there is no option to create custom checks (checks which are not inbuilt) in SRM. It will be really nice if this feature is added in SRM with an option to use API, SMI-S or ssh (similar to templates in SolarWinds SAM) Example: Suppose I want to monitor if dedup is enabled on Netapp volumes or not. Currently,…
I would like to request the development of the SRM feature for Oracle ZFS Stages for models ZS5-2 and ZS7-2. With information on Pool and FileSystem capacity, as well as capacity monitoring of controllers.
Currently, SRM does not poll/include autogrow when calculating storage capacity on NetAapp. This would be helpful especially for larger volumes.
Storage Manager should support Fujitsu`s storage systems by embedded or proxy SMI-S Provider. For discussion see this thread: Support Fujitsu Eternus DX + DX S2 Series 2019-11-18: move s3 to new request https://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/11501
