We would be interested in monitoring our new data domain appliance. The few minutes you get from the product is a joke. We currently use STM to monitor our SVC/V7000 infrastructure.

Has anyone used SNMP and custom monitors to verify replication, % storage used and context remaining?
We currently use a mix of Zenoss and SolarWinds for monitoring in different business units.
Zenoss has ZenPacks for EMC VNX and VMAX, but neither product currently has anything for Data Domain.
Unsurprisingly, we're looking to rationalise our operational software, and make some savings in licencing...
SolarWinds' stance over the past few years seems to be consistent - "We're interested in Data Domain", but it hasn't made it onto the product roadmap yet." - but with no indication as to when it might get there, or any signs of commitment, beyond "You can vote for it"...
Zenoss have already engaged our account manager for a discussion on what we would like to see in a Data Domain ZenPack, and have offered support, should we wish to develop our own monitoring pack.
As has been said above, EMC are a dominant player in the storage arena, and their deduplicating storage systems are becoming ever more popular - but with the continued lack of support from SolarWinds, I can see this being a deciding factor in which way we go with our monitoring solutions.
This would be help out our environment a lot since the DataDomains are used 24x7x365
Another loyal EMC user in misery cause we cannot monitor of backup storage arrays ......

Just purchasing a Data Domain. Sorry to see that SRM still doesnt support it though. Would have been a huge win.
Any motion on this? We're considering buying SRM but if it doesn't support Data Domain that may affect the decision.

I think jpventu said it best. "This has been up since 2012" Given its 2019, I don't think its unreasonable to think that something might be happening soon. The Data Domain platform is used by hundreds if not thousands of entities and is one of the most established platforms of Dell EMC. I guess if it hasn't happened in 7 years, someone should be asking why?
