If you are importing these from AD do not go in an futz with the passwords in the DB. What you need to do is delete the tech accounts. Ensure the users are pulled in through AD first then recreate the tech with the LDAP authentication checkbox and point the client to the users same AD account.

Using the approval process way they are in serial order one after another in a row. The thing we like about it is non tech (in WHD) can be part of the process.
