My servers are monitored via the agent and this is my executable command. SolarWinds.APM.RealTimeProcessPoller.exe -n=${NodeID} -alert=${N=Alerting;M=AlertDefID} -alertId=${N=Alerting;M=AlertID} If your servers are monitored via agent and the executable is as per above, then only thing I can think of is to make sure that…

Yes I back up my palo alto firewall device state. As I use Panorama, I don't backup the running config of the PA's. The only thing I've changed is when I back up the running config from panorama I do it using the cli view (so non xml file).

I don't believe you would have ever been able to do this as the gauge you want is bound to a particular interface and not customizable no a summary page to say which interface it's bound to. You could put in a feature request.
-
Yes the additional polling engine will do all that. Here's some info no how to install it https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/orionplatform/content/install-scalability-engine.htm

Is there a wait time between the 2 escalations?
-
😂that made me laugh!
-
I can't select the MVP products either.
-
Glad it was resolved. I'm not sure when I'll upgrade but I will keep this in mind. Thanks.

This page lists the multiple ways available to do this task https://solarwindscore.my.site.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Delete-Unknown-or-Down-interfaces-by-bulk?language=en_US
-
Have you tried to create your report in multiple sections? So each section will show just what you've listed in it.
-
Do you still have the email set at escalation level 2? Like this? I found when I just had them both in level 1, then the top 10 didn't get listed.

Hooray! Now to pick what I will spend my points on :)

Hooray! Now to pick what I should spend my points on :)

I've got the same. Some posts the comment section just doesn't appear. It's a bit odd.

Whilst I didn't like the old Thwack setup, I'm not fond of this new one really either. I'm not finding it very user friendly. But like others I too have been using AI. I'm now creating views and widgets I never thought I could do. My dashboards are coming alive with information. Now I wish there was more icons we could use…

Thanks for this post. I hadn't noticed the issue but I have the same issue. I've now updated my view. @bourlis you said "Take a look here Global Suppressed Alerts Dashboard - THWACK. You can download it and import it into your system or if you want I can post the SWQL query here." Could you please post the swql query here…

I became a MVP 2013 I think but I've only won once which was the overal monthly prize. Guess lots of people doing the missions 🙂
-
Looking forward to it.

Where do I find this check box? (Enable “Allow HTML” in table resource.) I tried looking in the Custom Table & Custom Query widgets. Neither has this option.
-
Thanks for the replies! I had already created undp's, I just needed assistance with swql code for displaying the information. I ended up creating a custom table using build in config. Then used Hubble to get the SQL code for it and then I used AI to lay it out as I needed.
-
You could also just monitor the syslogs for BFD messages and alert on them accordingly.
-
Sorry but who really cares? If you don't believe the documentation then don't configure it that way. You are wasting a lot of energy on this when at the end of the day, YOU can choose what to configure. You should really just move as there are much better things to be wasting your time on than this. But I did find this…

You can get all the info you are looking for from here https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/orionplatform/content/release_notes/solarwinds-platform-products-release-notes.htm?language=en_US#link1
-
Can you please show me an example of this top 10 table you mention? I can't see one like it.
-
accidental post and can't be deleted.
-
Yeah I'm aware of that. Original poster didn't mention which version they are on. So I was just confirming my version to support your message.

In the NCM script add in a line for SCP and have winscp or something similar running on your solarwinds server so it can receive the files. This was the script I used to use. You should be able to cut and paste this script and run it manually from the SSH prompt on your F5 device as well to test it out. DATE=`date…

I just watched Home Alone yesterday for Christmas :) I think it should be called ThwackAI.

Check how to monitor a reboot on the FatPipes and then write a custom poller for it. Create a FatPipes reboot alert on the custom poller. Then remove FatPipes from your generic 'reboot' alert.

This is what I use in my email alert '${N=Alerting;M=Downtime}'/1440} Days ${SQL: Select '${N=Alerting;M=Downtime}'%1440/60} Hours ${SQL: Select '${N=Alerting;M=Downtime}'%1440%60;} Minutes'
