I'm currently on version 2025.2 and have 9200's on 17.12.5 and back them up with no issues.

Map out the path that Solarwinds needs to take to reach the switch. Check each section of the path to make sure that solarwinds has access to the core switch. If that all looks fine, check for ACL's on the core switch that may be denying Solarwinds access.

Thanks! I never thought of doing that but it worked perfectly.

We have managed to negotiate with out current data link supplier to not charge us for our backup links. The technology itself is the same whether we pay for it or not. But at the end of the day, if they want to charge you, they will.

I've never been to a RSA show. Not sure if it's been in Australia at all. I see Frank Abagnale did a keynote in 2013. Great choice for a guest speaker!

You are misreading the request. I'm asking to see which alerts (non triggered) are applicable to a node. That I can check to see if certain alerts will run against the particular node according to my trigger conditions (without having to trigger the alerts).

Captain caveman was awesome! Thanks for posting. Great memories from yesteryears.

Could the IT generalist actually become more valuable? As companies look to shed staff, a jack of all trades is maybe exactly what they are looking for. Someone who can work on multiple IT technologies.

I'm surprised you only have 24 votes so far. I do also hope it gets looked at.

I believe in the 'we' mentality and prefer it over an 'I' mentality. But the reality unfortunately is that sometimes if I don't do it myself, it won't get done right. I wish we could all work at the same high standards I set for myself but unfortunately that's not the case. Some are happy to just whack something in and as…

Automation is a given. This will help us to be more efficient.

The hint doesn't work for today's question. But Google came to the request

Here in Australia we also spell it as centre. But I checked the comments before entering an answer

I agree mate, who cares about rankings. We should be here to learn and help. Not just collecting points. It does annoy me when you see useless posts or digging up old polls just to collect points. The leaderboard should be removed - find joy in helping and learning and being able to save points to get some cool Solarwinds…
