I just pasted the phrase into my search engine of choice and found this: https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/MIBs-database-installer-fails-to-complete-successfully?language=en_US

Appreciate the heads up.

Because the version (2022.4) is so out t of date I can only advise you open a ticket with Solarwinds as soon as possible.
-
If it continues then I suggest you open your own thread on this, as this one is over 7mths old. And if you do then provide as much information as you can, what you've tried, what version, what module, etc?
-
I don't follow. Can you share a screenshot of what you mean? And also explain exactly where you see this 'widget'?
-
I'm not 100% sure what you are looking to do, but it sounds similar to what we do but in a different way. If the user only has the IP, then they can use 'Manage Nodes' to find the name of the node. At that point they can then click on the node which takes them to the node details for that node. So, what we have done is…

The ops question was over 7 months ago and several versions have been released since. It could be that they were on a different version, but here are the steps I'd take: * check SNMP works via the TEST button in 'edit properties' * if the node(s) are managed by an APE check the clocks on the APE and Master poller are…

Yes, but partially. You could run an NCM 'Jobs' with the show chassis command. Unfortunately the response is plain text - but you could manipulate that into a spreadsheet format. We do something similar for whether an interface is enabled for Dot1x or not, but the process to convert is beyond me

> "link" icon Or, as I believe Solarwinds calls them, Implicit Joins. Took me, an absolute non-coder, weeks to get my head around that when I'd only just sussed out JOINs
-
Are you using enhanced node status calculation, by any chance? As that definitely would contribute towards the discards showing an issue?
-
Not sure if this is what you want.. but navigate to Settings > All Settings and then scroll down to 'Details' and select Database Details. Once that loads selects 'Database Maintenance Statistics'. It should be at the bottom of the first page. That will give you a view of the past 5 days of maintenance, for comparison…

This is going to be one of those "build it and they will use" [to abuse a well known idiom] moments. If there isn't one in the Content Exchange n.b. there isn't, I looked. Then you could try this one: Huawei_CE6881 as a starter. If that doesn't work then you have two further options: * Submit an FR (feature request) for…

Thanks Chad - appreciate the update as vague as it is

Kevin (KMSigma) doesn't work for Solarwinds anymore so he is very unlikely to know what's happening. I have asked in other channels and still waiting on an answer.
-
The code may fail because it references aspects only in our environment. I provided it as an example of what might be achievable. For a Modern Dashboard it is a similar approach. You would add a blank widget to your dashboard of choice and then click on 'Finish Configuring' This will give you a list of pre-defined widgets…
-
You could absolutely do this as a modern dashboard. What I don't know is if you can set a Modern Dash as a homepage. I know it was (is still?) a feature request but unsure if it has been implemented. You could also do this as a Custom Query widget. You'd need to code the SWQL to suit what you want, but we do a similar…
-
Odd as it may seem, given that this is primarily a Solarwinds forum, he's trying to do this using Solarwinds.
-
It refers to the NodeID of the specific node page you are on. When you navigate to another node, it uses that device's ID and so on.
-
Yes, as I said above there are LOTS of options, you just have to decide how you want to approach this. We have 10,000 devices and about half as many groups, so we have to created a widget that allows us to see at a glance what "groups" and what "maps" they appear on. The way we have done this is: * Go to the template you…
-
I will answer on the other duplicate post.
-
This appears to be similar (almost identical in fact) to your question in NPM group: Device related to which group I've added some thoughts there that may help, but you definitely need to explain what you are trying to achieve.
-
Hmm, well support would definitely suggest you upgrade if not to the latest, at least a more recent version. And avoid 2025.1 as it had a fair few bugs which I believe were mostly fixed in 2025.1.1
-
Can you provide more information on what you are looking to achieve? Do you mean map group, vendor group, custom property group, etc, etc? But as an example, if I have a custom property called 'Responsible Team' I can do a number of things, including but not limited to: * Go to Manage Nodes and adjust the view to include…

You don't say what version of SW you're running, but we also have an issue with groups. It's not quite the same as yours, and in our case some lower level groups also appear as root groups. This is on ver 2024.4.0 and it was identified as a bug. So, if you are running the same version then the advice from support was to…

And that's one of our "simple" ones

On the first reply, you downvoted me

Why the downvote?

Hi, I presume you've read/seen this: https://solarwindscore.my.site.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Add-MIBs-to-the-SolarWinds-MIB-database?language=en_US

AIRPRO is a new brand name to me, but I strongly suspect that is one where you will have to "build it yourself" and then share with the community. My approach would be to take a current upgrade template, say a Cisco one, and then adjust it to suit the command structure of the AIRPRO. You might even need to reach out to the…

You don't state what version you are running, but I strongly suggest opening a ticket with support.
